Virtual school for online schoolers

We are an online school, a virtual school. Our virtual school shares the same objectives as traditional brick-and-mortar schools. We offer Primary School education for ages 4-11 and Secondary School education for ages 11-18. Parents or students opt for BBrainy® International School over traditional schools because it accommodates their lifestyle.

Quality

We uphold rigorous quality standards, striving to meet educational benchmarks relevant to your country. We continuously monitor progress toward attainment of learning objectives crucial for diplomas or other quality benchmarks. To accomplish this, we employ our comprehensive learning goal tracking system, Maius. Maius encompasses a database of learning objectives sourced from diverse educational institutions, encompassing Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Vocational Education and Applied Universities.

Global Awards

Our school is accredited to the American Board of Education and the Italian Ministry of Education, we provide: very high level internationally recognized.
We offer multiple curriculum: choose from American, British or Italian educational pathways, as well as opportunities to Multilingual learning for all ages.

Lessons

During enrollment, we establish agreements regarding subjects, levels, and lesson hours. As a standard practice, we provide 300 lesson hours per year, with each session lasting 50 minutes. While we observe summer and holiday breaks, the timing of these periods may vary due to our global presence. Hence, lesson hours will be predetermined for the year through mutual agreement. For instance, subjects such as Italian, History, Geography, Math, and Science are typically scheduled for an average of 7-8 hours per week over 40 weeks.

Our goal is to maintain classes with approximately 12 students to facilitate effective individualized learning. While our dedicated educators mentor students towards self-reliance, we strive to strike a healthy balance between instruction and guidance.

From PreK to University: A Continuous Learning Path

Common to all school levels will be the learning of the English language, the development of interdisciplinary skills, and personal growth, including the importance of brain food nutrition.

• Early childhood and primary education: outdoor learning, focus on emotional intelligence, and critical thinking.


• Italian Middle School Curriculum:
  • ITALIAN: language, literature studies, and text comprehension
  • MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE: logic, geometry, biology, chemistry, physics
  • HISTORY and GEOGRAPHY: historical events and geographical contexts
  • ART and IMAGE: history of art studies, practice of graphic-painting techniques, and free expression through Design Thinking
  • MUSIC: music theory and instrumental practice
  • PHYSICAL EDUCATION: motor activities and sports
  • TECHNOLOGY: use of technological tools and digital education
  • CIVIC EDUCATION: interpersonal communication, social values, and the study of civil and community ethics


• Italian High School and Baccalaureate Curriculum. Specialized skills and university preparation in:
  • ITALIAN: advanced study of language, literature, and text analysis
  • MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE: in-depth study of algebra, geometry, physics, chemistry, biology, and the development of critical thinking
  • HISTORY and PHILOSOPHY: critical understanding of historical events and philosophical thought
  • PHYSICAL EDUCATION: sports disciplines and psycho-physical well-being
  • ENGLISH: consolidation and refinement of at least one foreign language. Development of key skills, creativity, lateral thinking, and resilience through interdisciplinary projects, group activities, and cooperative learning.

Our curriculum includes mindfulness practices and nutrition education to enhance students' holistic well-being.

Continuous Assessment and Progress Monitoring

• Constant Monitoring: Quizzes, assignments, and regular assessments ensure that progress is measured, and teaching strategies are adapted to foster awareness and harmonious growth.


• Progression Exams: Each year, students can take exams to qualify for the next academic year as external candidates at schools partnered with BBrainy® International School, up to the fulfillment of compulsory education requirements.


• Annual exams at MIUR-affiliated schools partnered with BBrainy® International School validate student achievements and prepare them for future educational milestones.

• One-time administration fee: €200;
• Yearly membership Irsef: €50
• Cost per standard year is 300 x €6,- = €1800. Payment is in advance per quarter (€450)

Specific content ("educational books") is not included in the price. If desired, we will use content your child is already working with.
